environmental tee
That's me!...lol

I recently received this t-shirt for review from Bant-shirts.com. The site offers organic cotton t-shirts that are made in the USA and pack an environmental / political punch. This particular t-shirt is my favorite especially because I live in Portland, Oregon the nation's number one city of bicycle commuters.

Often times the local newspaper and news channel feature bicyclists clashing with motorists...but most notably aggressive SUV drivers. Often times they think they own the road and don't pay any attention to bicyclists. This shirt subtly states that SUV drivers are akin to eco terrorists, of which, none are worse than the symbol of gas guzzlers...the Hummer. They are bad for the environment because they get extremely low gas mileage and often times are filled with only 1 person in them. This particular design boldly signifies the SUV culture has peaked with the high oil and gas prices last year. In contrast, bike culture is now a growing industry and hobby across the nation, especially in Portland.

As far as the quality of shirt goes...well what can I say, it's 100% organic cotton, so it's soft, it has a low environmental impact compared to it's conventional counterpart, and it's high quality is apparent in the look and feel. For the price ($18.50 for the bicycle tee shown above), you can't beat this fun eco statement. I highly recommend checking out their other really cool environmental tees.
